Fiord has been the default style since v0.4.0 (DEFAULT_STYLE_ID = 'fiord' in lib/mapStyles.ts, top-bar switcher, e2e pins toHaveValue('fiord')) — this PR completes the issue's second half: auditing every color drawn on the map against Fiord's actual palette and retuning what doesn't read.
Key finding: OpenFreeMap's Fiord is a dark cool-toned basemap (land #45516E slate, water #38435C navy — verified byte-identical between self-hosted public/styles/fiord.json and tiles.openfreemap.org/styles/fiord), not a light one. The issue screenshot confirms it: dominant pixels are exactly those two tones.

2.10→2.86:1
2.63→3.57:1

unchanged
≥3.3:1
≥4.2:1
already read fine on dark tiles (ISS-098 picked the queue gold for light+dark)
Both changes are one step brighter within the same hue family; white strokes and all other paint values untouched. No new constants — both colors are single-use inline paint values, matching this file's existing style.
Tests: no test changes needed — components/map.test.ts pins only #d4a017 (untouched), e2e queries rendered features by id/layer not color, lib/mapStyles.test.ts already pins the fiord default. Local: tsc --noEmit clean, vitest 381/381, playwright lists all 62 specs.
