crew_skills table (saveId, crewId, skill, level, xp); DDL synced with schema.ts; idempotent backfill for existing saves seeds role-based starting levels
Starting specialisation L2: PILOT/NAVIGATOR→NAVIGATION · SCIENTIST→SCANNING+RESEARCH · ENGINEER/TECHNICIAN→ENGINEERING · COMMANDER/MEDIC/GUNNER→all skills L0; all other skills L0 for everyone
On task completion every assigned crew member (lead + helpers) gains +1 XP in that action type skill; level thresholds L1=5 · L2=10 · L3=15 · L4=20 · L5=25 (cap); deterministic, no rng
Power bands active in the §4 duration formula: L0–L2→1 · L3–L4→2 · L5→3
Level-up events to event log (e.g. "BEN OKONKWO is now a SENIOR PILOT — NAVIGATION L3"); titles display only, role name preserved: highest skill level ≥5 → MASTER , ≥3 → SENIOR
UI: CREW tab shows the 4 skill levels per member + title; team builder shows each members power contribution and resulting duration
Unit tests per §9: XP accrual, thresholds/level-ups, power bands in duration
Process (AGENTS.md loop)
Same as #44 → version bump v0.11.0 + CHANGELOG entry at top → local verify (npx tsc --noEmit, npx vitest run, npx playwright test --list) → push, CI auto-merge on green (verify merged_at) → tag v0.11.0 on master → manual deploy → close issue with comment.
